A few of the topics at the conference are datavisualisation, immersive journalism and building documentaries for tablets. Documentary makers will also show and present their work. Speakers are Jonathan Harris (Cowbird), Nonny de la Peña, Daniel Burwen (Operation Ajax), François Le Galle (Défense d’Afficher), Margaux Missika (Alma), Bjarke Myrthu (Storyplanet) and Sabine Lange (ARTE). The conference is open to documentary makers and producers, game professionals, software developers, NGO executives, web-journalists, digital photographers and students.
WebDox’ conference takes place at Museum M (Leopold Vanderkelenstraat 28, Leuven) on Monday May 6, from 10h to 18h. To register, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org before April 30. There is a fee of €40 (€20 for students), to be paid at the entrance. This includes lunch and drinks.
